This is the district town of Tejpur, with an ensemble of colourful characters, Sadhu Yadav, the kingpin, his debauched son Sundar, the corrupt, beedi smoking Bhurelel, the police chief and the self-righteous journalist Rabidas. It is here that Amit Kumar (Ajav Devgun) is transferred as the new Superintendent of Police. Appalled at what he sees, Amit tries to eat he some life into the demoralized police force.
